Borlotti Beans – Tuscan Style

Perhaps it was all too inevitable – if it works well for cannellini beans it would probably work well for borlotti beans too!  

The procedure was almost exactly the same as for the cannellini beans except we increased the amount of sage added – in time we will try other herbs I am sure, but whilst the fresh sage here is so good it is difficult to consider anything else!

 

If you want to give it a try you will find the recipe and directions here using cannellini beans – but perhaps add a little more sage!
